LAEN SANCHES
Co-Founder/Creative Director
Laen is a filmmaker and visual artist driven by a fascination with images and how new cinematic tools reshape the language of storytelling. With a background spanning computer science, product design, animation direction, and art direction his practice moves instinctively between idea, image, and craft. His films - often exploring perception, technology, and human experience - have been broadcast and screened internationally, and recognized for both their visual ambition and social resonance.
At Return to Earth Studio, he shapes the studio’s creative direction, leading the development of authored projects while exploring AI and VFX-driven workflows as expressive tools in service of storytelling.
TONY STEARNS
Co-Founder/Executive Producer
Tony has more than 25 years of experience in international advertising, including over a decade as Executive Producer at Wieden + Kennedy. He has led productions of every scale for dozens of global brands, working with leading creatives, directors, and artists. His work has been recognised throughout the industry, and includes a Cannes Grand Prix.
At Return to Earth Studio, he oversees productions and builds collaborations, inspired by what lean, talented teams can achieve beyond the constraints of traditional production.
